In John's family it is tradition to have ice cream sundae's for breakfast. We decided to carry on that tradition this year. The kids are usually asleep when John leaves for work, (although Sydney loves to wake up in time to eat with dad), so we decided to wake them up so John could be with them for breakfast. In the kitchen, Sydney's face brightened up, and she said, "Oh I get it, it's silly to wake us up for breakfast, so this is April Fools." When we served the ice cream, she looked at us seriously and said, "this is not healthy, we need healthy breakfasts." Dave kept saying, "Not breakfast, not breakfast." I have been watching my sugar the last few months, maybe it's rubbed off a little too much!

How funny that they would be telling you that they shouldn't eat that for breakfast!!
tell those silly kids that I was raised on breakfast choices like that every day... and look how good I turned out!
